Heather Easter, MSW, LCSW

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado and has been practicing social work and counseling since 2003. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a Specialization in Family Therapy. Her clinical background includes work with teens and families in the treatment foster care system, clinical case management and crisis intervention services, school counseling, mental health assessments, counseling in community mental health clinics and group private practice settings, and clinical supervision.

Heather has twenty years of clinical experience. She utilizes an eclectic combination of counseling modalities and techniques including Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Poly-vagal informed modalities. She is also certified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) through NADA and can incorporate this stress management tool into her clinical work and therapy sessions. In addition, Heather offers Neurofeedback brain training sessions either individually or in-combination with clinical therapy services.

Heather is passionate about empowering clients to heal through increasing their self-awareness and helping them to be mindful of the importance of self-care practices. She recognizes that one of the most important aspects of therapy is finding the right ‘fit’ between therapist and client, in order to cultivate a strong and effective therapeutic relationship.
